The role will involve building strategic business plans, innovative long- and short-term product visions, and go-to-market strategy. This candidate should be able to lead efforts around identifying, prioritizing, developing and validating the solutions with customers. The goal is to accelerate customers’ ability to deploy top Industrie 4.0 opportunities such as digital transformation, digital thread, connected workers and augmented reality experiences for training, operations, quality, maintenance and service. We are seeking a candidate that is business savvy, with experience in cloud, web/app architectures, microservices and a passion for bringing new innovative enterprise offerings to the market to significantly improve the traditional way.

Ideally you will have some Augmented Reality experience !

Day-To-Day:

  • Turn ideas and concepts into implementable stories that can be prioritized.
  • Collaborate with PMs, Designers and Engineers to discover and define solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to gather inputs and set expectations.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple inputs and market factors to make rapid prioritization decisions.
  • Ability to support decisions and trade-offs based on research and intuition.
  • Keep the team(s) inspired and motivated by sharing customer success stories and outcomes.
  • Keep stakeholders informed to ensure a consistent and superior customer experience.
  • Promote and protect our user experience to help make UX a core principle across our teams and company.

 

Necessary experience:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to ship a feature from idea to release.
  • Strong understanding of agile methods to plan and deliver work (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience collaborating with teams globally.
  • Familiar with UX and technical concepts (you can empathize and understand the challenges and constraints raised by Designers, Engineers and QA).
  • Analytically minded with experience leveraging data sets and analytics methodologies to uncover insights.
  • Strong understanding of cloud and web app architectures/technologies and microservices

 

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to lead by influence without authority.
  • Ability to converge opinions towards customer and business outcomes.
  • Ability to distill complex problems into smaller, simpler problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle and manage customer and stakeholder challenges and expectations.
  • Worked with modern product development tools and workflows (Trello, Figma, JIRA).
  • Experience rebuilding/redesigning existing products on top of entirely new cloud services
  • Define OKRs and success metrics, track progress and measure impact.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with AR, VR or 3D modeling.
  • Experience with Enterprise Cloud products
  • Computer science background

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which may include the background and experience of all applicants, which can cause your compensation to vary. PTC anticipates the Senior Product Manager to start at a minimum annual salary of $125,000. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or payment of any relocation expenses that might be incurred.
