You will be telling the story of the value our innovative solutions deliver for Lenovo’s commercial newest innovations including AR, VR and Edge computing technology.

Today we are seeking a Tech Innovation Marketing Specialist that will work closely with the ThinkReality and ThinkEdge product teams to define Lenovo marketing strategy for AR, VR and Edge computing and execute marketing plans to increase awareness and consideration for Lenovo’s ThinkReality and ThinkEdge products and services portfolio.

You will work with cross-organizational teams, including Product Marketing, GEO Marketing, Web, Training, Global Sales, and business partners, to drive the development and execution of the marketing plan. The Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for presenting the Lenovo ThinkReality and ThinkEdge solution story to a wide array of audiences internally and externally. You will use your marketing prowess to use all the digital marketing tools in your arsenal to drive awareness and consideration for Lenovo’s innovative solutions and change perception of Lenovo to an end-to-end solution provider.

What you'll do
  • Define the global marketing strategy and budget for ThinkReality and ThinkEdge.
  • Build effective relationships with Sales, Product Management, Business Intelligence, and the innovation solution leaders to establish marketing priorities.
  • Deliver targeted messaging and collateral to reach ThinkReality and ThinkEdge decision makers/ influencers.
  • Develop thought leadership points of view and research based content relevant to ThinkReality and ThinkEdge
  • Enable the Lenovo Sellers and Channel Partners to “lead with Lenovo” by providing appropriate sales collateral, tools, promotions, and training.
  • Collaborate with internal business segments to incorporate ThinkReality and ThinkEdge into “One Lenovo,” messaging
  • Develop and manage the quarterly marketing budget, expanding joint funding opportunities with Lenovo key partners.
  • Work with the events manager to coordinate all events and solutions launches (i.e., CES, VRARA, NXT BLD Virtual, Mobile World Congress, Laval Virtual, Edge Computing World, Embedded World, Nvidia GTC, etc.)
  • Establish metrics to track opportunities, 360 feedback, and maximize the return from trade show events.
  • Work intimately with GEO Marketing teams, communicating asset timelines, and customer wins, segment updates and program offers
  • Work intimately with Incubation solution managers and leaders to align marketing plan to business goals and launch plans.
  • Build and track usage model across all assets to gauge the effectiveness and report overall program ROI
  • Present quarterly to sales and marketing leadership on progress and outcomes
  • Challenge the status quo. Introduce fresh ideas and creative approaches to differentiate Lenovo and the ThinkReality and ThinkEdge portfolio.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field (Computer Science, Engineering or Marketing preferred)
  • 5-7 years’ experience and proven track record in executing successful B2B marketing programs, technology product marketing experience a plus
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to communicate technologies as customer value
  • Strong technical acumen, with a history of taking complicated solutions and building simple, impact marketing assets and programs.
  • Self-Starter with a strong work ethic and ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and results-oriented
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers.
  • Candidates must have strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time.

Preferred Requirements:
  • 6+ years of Product Marketing or Marketing Management experience in IT related industry
  • Understanding of common relationship sales motions and sales cycles highly preferred
  • Understanding of tracking leads through marketing automation and CRM tools
  • The ideal candidate would be a resourceful, self-motivated individual willing to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements when needed
