ARRI INC, world renowned distributor of premier professional motion picture Camera and Lighting equipment is looking for an Application Engineer, System Solutions to join our team. We can be flexible as to work location, the ideal candidate can work in our Burbank, CA office.
We seek a motivated professional in an Application Engineer role who will be an integral part of the US System Solutions Team to help develop and provide technical guidance and training, addressing Mixed Reality Production requirements based on specific customer needs.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to be at the forefront of new business and technological opportunities for the ARRI group. The person we seek must be an excellent communicator and collaborator providing technical support and training for the integration of ARRI products and complimentary (3rd party) technologies in Mixed Reality applications.
If you have the ability and experience to…
· Operate and optimize an in-house experimental testing stage
· Support beta testing of new product and/or technologies
· Support integration work on customer sites
· Develop and maintain documentation for tools, techniques and workflows
· Engage with productions, consolidate, communicate and prioritize global requirements specific to System Solutions applications
· Actively seek opportunities to demonstrate the integration of ARRI lighting and camera products in Mixed Reality applications
· Track industry trends, particularly disruptive technology or business changes
· Develop educational, demonstration, and promotional plans
· Define technical standards strategy and coordinate participation

The right candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience working in the entertainment production technologies, workflow from set to delivery
To succeed you must have a creative/technical background, experience and good understanding of Game Engine technology and/or Media Servers and a background in video engineering, computer programming (C++ or Blueprint).
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office programs necessary as well as productivity tools and software neccessary.
