As a Creative Director, you will work with leadership to provide artistic and creative direction. You will collaborate with researchers and engineers to understand what capabilities are on the technological horizon and you will build prototypes to turn them into new products and experiences.

Problem-solving, prototyping and creative exploration comes second nature to you and are evident in your skills, your past projects, and the breadth of successes that have marked your career. You are curious about and engage with emerging technologies and have your hand on the pulse of all things AR, VR, MR, XR. You are interested in how new technologies enable new means of self-expression to a Facebook scale audience.

Responsibilities
  • Build compelling prototypes that demonstrate new product capabilities
  • Drive creative and technical projects from start to finish
Minimum Qualification
  • Experience creating experiences for some or all of the following: AR and VR applications, shipped mobile apps (Android and iOS), interactive installations
  • Proven artistic sensibilities, and can make beautiful work and guide others in doing so
  • Experience designing, prototyping, and building systems, both as an individual and with a larger team
  • Expertise with 3D tools such as Blender, Maya, Houdini, Unity, Unreal, Spark AR, etc.
  • Understanding of technical capabilities and constraints, and the creativity to imagine new uses for them
  • Technically sophisticated. Experience working closely with researchers and engineers while acting as a liaison between project stakeholders
  • Experience anticipating problems that may put a project at risk and implements solutions
  • Experience working under pressure and against deadlines
  • Proven communication and presentation skills
  • Extensive experience interacting and pitching to high-level executives
  • Experience providing direction and vision to internal cross-functional partners and stakeholders
  • Experience guiding internal partners through creative concepting
  • Background working with remote teams, communicating and collaborating across various disciplines
