Summary We're looking for a strategist for the Oculus Growth team within In this role, you will research and recommend the most impactful ways of growing emerging technologies and help shape our vision for growing virtual reality and the metaverse. Job Responsibilities Research past and current trends in growth strategies for emerging technologies, virtual reality and relevant consumer hardware products Recommend the most impactful strategy for Oculus acquisition and influence senior product leaders to incorporate your recommendations into their roadmaps Create material and presentations for team meetings, presentations and other key events Skills Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage onersquos time Ability to collaborate with other business units and senior stakeholders Mastery of presentation software applications, especially Google Slides EducationExperience Bachelorrsquos degree or equivalent experience in business, strategy, product management, UX research or a related field Previous experience in a strategy role within a large organization Years of experience - Flexible, but generally 5-8 years for a level 5 Top 3 required skill sets - Previous product strategy experience - Ability to conduct independent research and apply learnings to build a strategy - Ability to prioritize and recommend an approach using data Top 3 nice to haves - Previous experience leading strategy in a corporate environment, preferably at a large tech company - Strategy or research on emerging technologies, especially VR - Familiarity with virtual reality Task Break downs (by ) - Research on past, current and future emerging technologies (50) - Synthesizing research findings into a data-driven recommendation (20) - Consolidating and sharing findings and recommendations in posts and presentations (10) - Attending team meetings and working with cross-functional partners (10) - Additional tasks as needed (10)
