General Summary

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong background in machine learning, with experience and expertise in NLP and NLU algorithms and deep familiarity with state of the art NLU related technologies, data collection, performance validation and network architecture. This position is in our Voice UI team where you will work with diverse group of experts in signal processing and machine learning to enable embedded Voice UI solutions. This position is a system engineering position involving system design, architecture recommendation, roadmap design, competitve analysis and deployment of various features and use cases related to Voice UI.

Ideal candidate must have

Advanced data analysis and creative problem-solving skills.

6+ years Machine Learning or related work experience

Experince with NLP or NLU tasks.

Must have familiarity with techniques in one of more of : Name entity recognition, parts of speech tagging, syntactic/semantic parsing, question-answer and semantic analysis.

Hands on development experience with ML frameworks like Tensorflow, Pytorch or equivalent is required.

Experience with deploying commercial NLU models/solutions is a strong plus.

Experience with ASR, speech recognition, signal processing, DSP and MATLAB is a strong plus.

Preferred Experience Can Include

Excellent C & C++, multi-threaded programming and debugging skills in Embedded Software.

Understanding of fixed and floating point programming.

Excellent scripting skills in MATLAB and python.

Familiarity with software management system (GIT)

Familiarity with Audio DSP development

Familiarity with VLIW and SIMD instructions

Key words- Pytorch, Python, Tensorflow, NLU, NLP, ASR , ML, AI, DSP, GPU

Physical Requirements

• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication (e.g., on conference calls) which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
• Works in the lab, can use hazardous chemicals (e.g., glue, machinery).
