We are looking for an exceptional Supply Chain Automation Engineer within our Global Supply Chain organization.  You will develop computer automation methodologies and tools that integrate with system applications, software products, and network devices in support of Supply Chain related activities.  You will drive the automation strategy and facilitate the adoption (or exploitation) of new technologies that increase the digital dexterity of the MKS Supply Chain organization.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative international environment navigating multiple technologies, systems, processes, organizations, sites, cultures and practices.

What you will do:


  • Develop intelligent automation solutions utilizing artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotic process automation using a combination of off-the-shelf and custom-built systems to create end-to-end workflow automation.
  • Work with Supply Chain personnel, information technology, and project teams to understand user requirements and create automated solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for embedding automation software in existing systems to improve efficiency and usability.
  • Interface with Software suppliers to understand which products will best meet MKS business requirements.
  • Build and codify data analysis knowledge and capabilities.
  • Establish requirements, evaluate options, and maintain tools/applications for an automation framework supporting automated data generation.

What will you bring to the team, along with your creativity is:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 7+ years of experience in IT automation and monitoring with expertise in associated tools
  • Experience with continuous integration tools, Object Oriented Programming and SQL
  • Awareness of workplace analytics or digital employee experience management tools
  • The ability to learn and utilize digital workplace technologies to catalyze new ways of work
  • Understand SCM process flow and inter-relation to ERP systems
