We are looking for an exceptional Sr Application Engineer who can develop motion business with growing expertise for products/technologies, markets and application understanding:


  • Position needs experimented application engineer with experiences in motion control, accurate system and in laser micro machining processes
  • Working in conjunction with the Sales team as the key technical application engineer, you communicate with customer to identify and to provide adapted motion solutions to assure his satisfaction.
  • You collaborate with the R&D Motion team and with Application Engineer of the Laser BU and various MKS BU.
  • You will integrate the Motion Application group, will be located in Irvine California, working on a regular base with colleagues in France, Asia and visiting worldwide customers.

You will bring to the team your expertise in Motion Control  and in Laser Micro Machining processes to support Field Sales in the "hunting process" with customer direct contact for his application discover, understanding of key specifications and presentation of our capabilities and differentiators:


  •  Engineer skills to communicate with R&D experts in mechanical, electronic, control and metrology
  • Technical input and pricing definition for quotation, responsible of Product margin
  • Link between Field Sales and Factory to ensure smooth project launching.
  • Frequent travels in US and international travels to Asia (3-5 customer visits) and factory in France (2-3)
  • A minimum of Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or similar, 5 years experiences
