The Business Operations (BizOps) team’s mission is to ensure FRL makes the best strategic product and go-to market decisions. We support decision making by Product, Marketing, Sales, Content, Business Development, and Analytics. We combine structured problem-solving, user centered design thinking, qualitative/quantitative analyses of internal/external data, and soft skills to influence strategy.This role is an opportunity to shape the computing platforms of the future, focusing on AR and Wearables. It will challenge you to deeply understand and impact our customers and products, including journey mapping, opportunity sizing, competitive analysis, forecasting, and goal setting.
Responsibilities
- Analyze augmented reality and wearable industry trends and competitive landscape and develop long term business plans to influence FB’s strategic roadmap
- Partner with product and GTM teams to define problems, articulate the option space, and characterize tradeoffs
- Create complex financial and operational models and run scenario analysis to understand the implications of a variety of business decisions on key metrics
- Develop long-range product forecast, leveraging primary survey data and secondary sales data from relevant categories
- Present recommendations to cross-functional partners, including the Reality Labs Product and FB Finance executive teams
Minimum Qualification
- B.S. or M.S. in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, Finance or similar)
- 2+ years of experience in strategy, finance, product, or analytics
- Best-in-class communication and interpersonal skills, and experience managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Analytical experience, with experience framing ambiguous problems, and drawing insights from multiple data sources
- Highly skilled at synthesizing business insights and problem solving
Preferred Qualification
- Experience in investment banking, management consulting, high growth technology company or a similar field
