The Specialized Technology Recruiting Team at Facebook supports specialized technical hiring across unique hardware initiatives and innovative technologies. These organizations are responsible for developing and building the software and hardware platforms that power Facebook, its Infrastructure, and its family of apps today (including Data Center, Core Systems Engineering, Foundation, Enterprise, Network Engineering, Production Engineering, Connectivity, Privacy and Security teams) and the platforms of the future (Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)). As a member of the Specialized Technology Recruiting Team specifically aligned to First-Party Game Studios, you’ll work with hiring managers and Sourcers to develop creative strategies to find the best talent in support of our ambitious plans to develop first-party content in the Facebook Reality Labs organization. We conceive practical and creative ways to identify leading talent and invest a lot of time activating passive candidates through a highly engaged approach. We’re passionate about delivering an awesome candidate experience from the initial reachout and first conversation a candidate has with us which more often than not starts with a member of our recruiting team. Responsibilities
- Help to define, design and implement recruiting programs and search engagements for a variety of technical and non-technical roles, including understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply
- Work closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand the requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization
- Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, talent mapping, events and sourcing campaigns
- Build and share knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences, and open source communities with hiring partners
- Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
- Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine basic qualifications
- Partner with Coordinators and Recruiters to manage an efficient model of operation
- Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
- Recommend and drive improvements that positively impact talent pipelines
Minimum Qualification
- 2+ years of sourcing experience with in-house technical recruiting team, search firm, or agency
- Experience working in, or familiarity with the video game industry
- Experience in technical sourcing
- Experience partnering and building sourcing strategies with Recruiters and Hiring Partners
- Experience influencing stakeholders through data analysis
- Experience developing and executing, long term hiring strategies
