HealthTech Start Up - Fitness & Health

New York (or remote)

A Venture Capital backed NY based B2B Health & Fitness Start Up is expanding and seeking a Head of Business Development / Sales to take a key role in taking their product to market. Founded two years ago, the company is focused on using innovative AR/VR driven technology for the online fitness market. The team (well respected entrepreneurs in the tech field) have already achieved seed funding and have exciting growth plans across 2021 as the online Health & Fitness industry continues to soar. The company is primarily focused on working with companies on their employees health and fitness wellbeing and this role will involve expanding the company's client base across North America. Previous experience in a Sales/Business development role within HealthTech is a huge plus as well as experience interacting with tech organizations, insurance providers and payment providers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the go-to market strategy and business development, reporting in to the CEO/Founder
  • Build new relationships and partnerships across the HealthTech sector
  • Manage and grow existing clients and partnerships
  • Work closely with the founders and VP Product
  • Breathe the company values and mission as the go to sales figure for the organization
  • Hire, grow and inspire a team of sales/BD executives over the coming year
  • Help develop the companies proposition as a leading VR/AR focused fitness platform for employees


Requirements

  • Prior experience in a Senior Sales/Business Development role - ideally in a product focused HealthTech start up or scale up
  • Experience developing clients and negotiating deals across B2C and B2B
  • Passion for HealthTech is a big plus
  • Desire to work in a fast paced and high growth environment
  • Great communication and collaboration - the team is small and you will work closely with all members of the organization. Ideally you will be just as passionate about revolutionizing the HealthTech industry as the founding team
  • Experience in deeptech, streaming, computer vision or AR/VR
  • Passion for D,E & I - the team is strongly focused on building a culture inclusive of all diverse groups
