Job Summary:

The 3D Artist utilizes traditional art training and knowledge of illustration, graphic design, and computer graphics software to create high-quality art assets for our immersive retail experiences. The ideal candidate is a utility artist, experienced in multiple genres of game/real-time art production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creates realistic assets for use in real-time VR/AR applications and high end pre-rendered cinematics
  • Deliver quality work as scheduled in accordance with the production design, product requirements and producer direction
  • Recreates objects from reference images, scan data and other sources
  • Coordinates directly with Tech artists and Engineers to define optimal specifications for assets
  • Works with Directors to understand the visual language, style and needs of each project
  • Collaborate with other artists and other dependent departments, as appropriate, throughout the production process

Required Qualifications:
  • 2 years of Professional experience creating realistic 3D game ready assets
  • 2 years of Experience working with in house or commercial game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal, etc.)
  • Portfolio demonstrating optimized game ready mesh, textures and materials
  • 3D Scan model cleanup experience
  • Experience with PBR material authoring
  • 2 years of Experience using Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush, and Substance Painter/Designer

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art or related field
