As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

The Augmented Reality (AR) team at Google is building the future of immersive computing. Through our development of AR core we enable augmented reality experiences on several devices. We are working on cutting edge technologies enabling the next generation of immersive devices.
As part of the team, you will build a highly optimized, immersive device which will power the next generation of experiences. Connectivity is a core component of any piece of successful hardware. Spanning from device architecture, and product design, all the way through our software stack to our experiences, you will drive one of the most critical domains we are working on.
The Google Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality team is a group of engineers, designers, and research scientists tasked with building the foundations for great immersive computing and prototyping helpful, delightful user experiences. We're focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.
Responsibilities
- Bring order and determine what needs to get done in an ambiguous, fluid environment.
- Build relationships and trust, over time through on-time delivery of commitments; drive communication, continuous innovation, by exceeding expectations.
- Drive consensus across the team on topics such as architectural direction, performance key performance indicators (KPIs), timelines, and more.
- Break the program down into executable units, appropriately scheduled to ensure optimized resource loading across the team and on time delivery of commitments.
- Drive overall program execution, unblocking roadblocks, managing issues independently, and ensure transparent reporting of progress to leadership.
