Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in C++, including data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience with computer graphics and developing software for graphics processing unit (GPUs), concurrency, and parallelism.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience in embedded systems development and bare-metal or RTOS-based microcontroller development in C or C++.
• Experience with ARM M33 processors, Serial Peripheral Interfaces (SPIs), and encoding and decoding H.264, in hardware.
• Experience with algorithms and techniques for asynchronous reprojection.

Responsibilities

• Write robust, reliable, efficient, and testable embedded software to present graphics frames on time, drive display hardware, and monitor system performance.
• Communicate the results of investigations, proposals, and designs effectively through written means with teams, leads, and new hires.
• Collaborate with teams to develop UI frameworks and protocols for frame delivery.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams as we develop new interactions between display and other subsystems.
