Chief Technology Officer

SUMMARY:

• The Infinadeck Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is an executive level position reporting directly to the CEO responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of technology resources within and outside the organization. Aggressive compensation consistent with N. California package for a start-up including equity. We are looking for a CTO to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. A proven track record in designing electromechanical systems and software systems is essential as well as experience in product development, product marketing and an understanding of the entire process of design to manufacturability. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders, and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately.
• Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in the current Virtual and Augmented Reality technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, we’d like to meet you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for managing the delivery of the overall Infinadeck Experience Platform, both hardware and software.
• Lead the technology and the overall Product Roadmap direction for the company
• Continuously implement measures to decrease ongoing product spending, optimize processes, analyze market trends, and forecast profits
• Ability to marry with The Infinadeck product, with the market and customer vision.
• Help create vision and direction of the technology and products for the company while understanding the financial and business needs.
• Continuously pursue better ways to help the company keep its competitive edge and stay technologically sustainable.
• Possess a “get it done” attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Complete other duties as assigned/support cross-functional teams.
• Be the public face of our tech department and represent Infinadeck at conferences, trade and other events that strengthen the corporate brand image. 
• Works very closely directly with all disciplines such as marketing, sales, operations, finance, manufacturing, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of Virtual and Augmented Reality technological trends to build strategy
• Knowledge of game development
• Mission Driven
• Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role
• Experience creating budgets & business-planning
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
• Excellent communication skills of the English language, both written and verbal.

• Strategic thinking
• Problem-solving aptitude
• BSc/BA in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Must be reliable, have good initiative, be committed, and be quality focused.
• Ability to work with a team and in a fast-paced environment.
