Nexus Studios is looking for a full-time Interactive Resourcing Coordinator to join our LA team.

Our interactive department is a rapidly evolving leader in its field. Marrying cutting edge creative technology with directors and artists who use stories to engage their audiences.

We tell stories across a range of technologies and platforms; from traditional film to AR/VR/XR, experiential and web. The studio is a busy, dynamic and creative environment, servicing animation and mixed media productions and interactive arts including AR, VR and immersive media.

This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the most talented people in the industry, acting as a crucial connection between production, directors and artists. The role is super diverse, requiring strong organisation skills, ability to exploit opportunities and be able to form great working relationships with internal and external talent.

You will have experience within an interactive studio, production or support function, or a graduate from an animation, gaming or interactive design education.

Responsibilities include: 

• Sourcing and recruiting technical and creative talent from junior to senior levels.
• Predominantly sourcing talent for Unity, Unreal and gaming technical artist and developer disciplines
• Managing permanent and freelance artists (including negotiating contracts)
• Maintaining studio database and team schedule, and supporting development of project schedules
• Onboarding crew including paperwork management and coordinating software and equipment needs
• Helping to build relationships with schools and universities internationally to nurture young talent
• Co-ordinating innovative R&D projects to help further the technological capabilities of the studio

You will:

• have some experience/knowledge of programming and real-time (VR/AR/gaming) processes and tools
• An education or experience in gaming, VFX, animation, interactive a benefit
• be meticulous and well organised
• be friendly and approachable with excellent people skills
• a tenacious and proactive researcher and talent spotter
• enjoy being involved in a fun, creative environment
