Are you a Test Lead in the gaming industry with successful title launches and experienced in project reporting? Apply to be the first on a core team testing VR tech and guide future work for Experis's game solutions in Portland, Oregon as a Test Lead. Our new partner is building the future of connection within virtual and augmented reality and we are hiring a Test Lead to be the first of the core team to release a virtual reality, online games with integrated game creation systems. As a Test Lead, you will drive testing and lead milestone meetings to report the health of the business, identify areas of improvement, and ensure strategic alignment for each of our clients. Your communication skills (verbal and written) are important for the project and the people on your team, as you will create and manage a great environment, ensuring retention of project knowledgebase and testers through ongoing career mentorship. Must Haves Seven+ years of experience in QA and Test in video game (or digital experience), software testing experience, actually testing console games, PC games, or VR products Project management certification or supporting education for scheduling Communications skills to lead team and to report, engage, and plan with leadership Experience with coaching and mentoring people on teams of 10+ Experience creating and leading a good work environment Experienced in guiding advanced testing techniques and methodologies, black box game testing principles Test management tools experience Strong knowledge of software testing principles and application development cycle Responsibilities Guide processes to ensure quality of testing and prove testing coverage Create reporting and guide area owner reporting, deliver all-up reporting assuring each chart or graph has explanations, communicate progress toward the next milestone's goals and testing results Handle data analytics and telemetry, creating customary dashboards, reporting, and continuous improvement monitoring and implementation Get in the game and test along-side the team to verify parity of the bug database to the build Drive coverage of testing across each build, planning upcoming testing on deliverables Review, guide, and verify completeness of testing specifications, cases, and coverage Triage bugs with the client from your team to theirs At Experis, we care about people and the role of work in their lives.
