The primary responsibility of a Presales Engineer in our company is a companion to our decision makers on significant sales pursuits, customer and partner projects, technical design improvements and integrations.

Who are you?


You are an experienced tech savvy professional that worked across a diverse range of technologies as they have evolved over the past 5-10 years including 2D, 3D, AR, VR and immersive technologies. Handling and learning new applications and technologies take just hours from comprehension to using them.

 

The tools you are using are vast, from photo editing, video editing, CMS and CRM software, you have used and tried them all and LOVE doing so. You may have even set up your own home automation server and host your own NAS-Cloud - it took 5 YouTube videos and a couple of hours, but you can do it on yourself without direct guidance.


3D experience is a bonus, if you ever worked with 3D-modeling or web-ready applications you will love our platform. A comprehensive understanding our technology ecosystem along with consumer and expert feedback of that ecosystem will need to be developed over time.


You are an open-minded person that loves to communicate with clients, teams, lead and guide as well as learning new things all the time, not just tech.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assess system and security solutions to setup, maintain and improve software and integration
  • Propose practical strategies and present originality with the help of technology.
  • Act as a leader, responsible for scheduling technician assignments and assessing budgetary needs
  • Build a collaborative, solution driven relationship with the members of tech support as well as project management, key leaders and internal stakeholders of the business, as well as technology & engineering team members
  • Train newly hired employees on our solution offerings
  • Communicate with clients and all internal departments in a leading position
  • Responsible for reviewing existing monitoring and tools to improve and offer alternatives
  • Stay abreast of new programs and decide which may be beneficial for implementation
  • Ensure that typical project workflows follow critical technology function guidelines (security, workflow, dependencies)
  • You will be the link between multiple teams and executives
  • Working alongside industry leaders at identifying new technologies to ensure the organization is both creative and innovative in its solutions
  • Works alongside the UX Manager and business leaders within the organization to design solutions that keep the organization one step ahead (Wireframing, UI, UX, Design & more)
  • Assist project teams as requested to ensure successful delivery of installations
  • Collaborate with consultants, other professionals, dedicated technicians, and business strategists via whiteboarding tools and other collaborative tools (Sharepoint, Mira, ClickUp, etc.)
  • Perform or delegate the actions and tasks for which they are responsible, to apply the techniques needed to complete the responsibilities of this job and to use the tools required by these activities
  • Travel may be required

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelors degree required; Masters (or equivalent) preferred
  • 8 years or more of professional technical experience in infrastructure, tech support
  • 5 years of applicable experience leading design and conceiving immersive 2D & 3D experiences; virtual event experience highly desirable
  • Proficiency in interactive 3D design tools such as Unity, Unreal, iOS, Photoshop, Maya, Blender or other relevant software
  • A foundational understanding of AR/VR, real-time 3D, and/or motion graphics workflows that grants you the ability to guide a variety of interactive projects from concept through delivery
  • Both design skills and experience guiding, evaluating, and redirecting the creative work of a multi-discipline team.
  • Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise architectures, strong understanding technology infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies and infrastructure solutions are required
  • Background and experience in computer networking, remote access, information security, virtual machines, firewalls, 3rd party partnerships, operating systems, servers, and end user computing devices, client communication
  • Excellent presentation, written, and oral skills
