The firm has recently partnered with the Stanford Center for Professional Development, a part of the Office of the Vice Provost, for Teaching and Learning at Stanford University to deliver a VDC Certification Program for the AEC industry.

In this role, you will:

• Project manage BIM projects primarily focused on mechanical and plumbing systems, including 3D BIM creation, clash detection, clash resolution, 4D simulations, 5D quantity/cost analysis, point cloud to BIM, and other VDC/BIM applications.
• Provide leadership and management of teams of BIM Specialists.
• Perform Redlining, Model Development, Clash Detection, and Coordination of all plumbing components through Bluebeam, BIM 360, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Serve as an interface to client and cultivate client relationships.
• Read and interpret plumbing and piping plans/ schematics.
• Work with executive and director teams to promote a culture of technology adoption and innovation both within the company and the AEC industry in general.
• Lead & participate in R&D efforts. Primary R&D focuses to include data integration and analytics, optimization of MEP BIM workflows, and topics focused on the future of AEC technology.
• Learn and present new BIM and technology applications for our team and clients.
• Assist in the creation of MEP-related BIM and VDC proposals.

Apply if you have:

• Minimum 3 years experience drafting and modeling of mechanical or pipe systems in the A/E/C industry
• Experience in working on construction projects
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field
• Availability to work out of one of our 9 US regions when circumstances permit (Chicago, New York City, Denver, Scottsdale, Portland, Boston, San Jose, San Diego, New Orleans)

Even better if you have:

• Knowledge of UPC standards
• Experience in combining and coordinating BIM updates, running clash detection on revised components and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders
