The Facebook Reality Labs Partnerships team is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to help drive new product partnerships for an emerging technology and product space in our AR/VR business group. You'll be at the center of a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional team pushing on every aspect of bringing new products to market: technology, hardware, software, marketing and brand, distribution, and new experiences. You’ll be responsible for partnerships across all aspects of new product development working closely with our cross functional teams. Facebook's FRL organization brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and platform.

Responsibilities
  • Build and execute on partnerships for hardware and software development that can materially accelerate new product development cycles
  • Define, negotiate, and close complex joint development, marketing, and product partnerships deals
  • Develop and drive external partner strategy for new products and new experiences in the FRL team
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, product marketing, legal, finance, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, and advocate internally for partners
Minimum Qualification
  • BA/BS degree 8+ years of work experience, including 5+ years of business development experience
  • Experience with structuring and negotiating partnership agreements for product development, new business development, IP and brand licensing, marketing and distribution, new experiences, and more
  • Experience licensing and co-developing content, and experience in brand licensing
  • Experience interpreting legal documents, negotiate contracts and work with attorneys to complete agreements
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete complex deals
Preferred Qualification
  • Technical degree with JD or MBA. Experience operating with flexibility in a fast-paced, always-on, constantly evolving and collaborative environment and work effectively cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience developing strong working relationships inside and outside Facebook Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Proven experience in building partnerships for new hardware products including managing complex processes and negotiations end-to-end
  • Experience in establishing relationships and presence within the consumer electronics sector with a proven experience in reaching and exceeding goals
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills with technical, contractual and financial issues
