We are looking for an exceptional innovative team member who can lead the development, implementation, enhancement and administration of the facility, primarily at our Milpitas, CA site. The position will be vital to build a culture of employee health & safety and good corporate stewardship. Reporting to the Director of Regional Facilities, this position will actively manage all Facility and Security initiatives in Milpitas to assure proper implementation/alignment of policies, procedures and programs that promote well managed and well-maintained properties. The position will be a key member of the Global Real Estate and Facilities team which in total is managing ~2.7M SF, with ~90+ offices in ~26 countries throughout EMEA, NALA and APA.


The Facilities Manager will provide leadership and support to the Global Facilities/Real Estate team in a complex high-tech manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for the overall site facilities management including: team leadership, day-to-day facility operations, capital and operating budget responsibility, cleanroom operations, scheduling/supervising repair and maintenance of pneumatic, gas, electrical and mechanical systems, vendor & contractor management, and EH&S support. This position will work in a fast-paced collaborative environment that is focused on quality work both with internal/external clients and business partners.  In addition, the position will also oversee and coordinate multiple capital construction projects as needed across portfolio and potential of multiple site management with a strong emphasis on financial management. 

Primary Focus:


  • Manage preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities programs using CMMS software
  • Select, develop, and evaluate team members to continuously enhance/supplement current skillsets to grow with evolving business culture while maintain highest level of customer service 
  • Build partnerships with third-party vendors, services providers, and contactors, while ensuring most cost-effective methods are being used. 
  • Coordinate the design, planning, budget, and schedule for facility modifications, including estimates on construction, equipment, labor, materials and other related costs.
  • Participate in the design and develop of organizational policies relevant to the facilities department and support department initiatives including but limited to CSR and building related sustainability initiatives
  • Develop and manage operational budget for facility while continuously seeking cost reduction and avoidance in all budgeted cost categories.
  • Provide innovative solutions by researching and implement new technology to improve operational efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Responsible for strengthening and fostering the Facility team’s safety culture through team engagement, ownership, accountability and behavior-based safety efforts, including Facility related training programs as required and monitor and maintain team records
  • Maintain and implement Facility related business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions and site specific/ building disaster recovery plans (the Facility playbook)

What you will bring to the team is:


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant progressive leadership experience with an emphasis on facilities management in a manufacturing setting  
  • Knowledge of commercial manufacturing building mechanical system, including domestic water supply and distribution, high and low pressure compressed air, cooling water systems with cooling towers, gas distribution, and HVAC systems.
  • Handle multiple projects at various sites on a fast-paced schedule, while dealing with some vagueness and an ever-changing environment. 
  • Willing to travel 10-20% of the time to sites within Western region, plus corporate meetings and trainings events.
