General Summary

We are hiring for all experience levels at our SanDiego/Irvine/Santa-Clara locations. You will be joining one of the World's best Camera Design Solutions IP team that delivers Spectra ISP to various Snapdragon SoCs in Mobile, AR/VR, Automotive, Compute and Adjacent markets

A successful DV candidate will work on developing verification infrastructure for Camera IP delivered to various SoCs. Candidate will be responsible for working with functional Leads to assess Design Requirements and establish verification plans along with metrics required to complete verification Closure for Camera IP Blocks. Experienced candidates are expected to be independent in execution of IP Verification plans and deliver high quality designs in collaboration with Verification, Design and System leads.

An ideal candidate would have -

Experience with design verification defining testplans, developing verification infrastructure using OOP and execution of defined testplans to meet required Metrics of Closure.

Expertise with Hardware verification languages (HVL) such as SystemVerilog testbench (OVM/UVM) and SystemC

Development of Directed and Constrained Random stimulus

Strong Digital Design concepts and debugging skills

Preferred Experience

Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

Scripting proficiency - Perl, Python, TCL, Shell

Experience with Verification of Complex IP/SOC with exposure to End-to-end verification methodologies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work in a collaborative environment with geographically distributed teams

Experience with simulation acceleration platforms is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems

Work Experiences

2+ years Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Work Experiences

2+ years experience in Image Signal Processing design, development, implementation, and verification. ,2+ years of experience with programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems. ,2+ years experience in camera hardware or systems design and optimization.
