The Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) group brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software and content. We are building tools and experiences that make people feel closer together via Video Calling, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). The Retail Production team will handle all Retail efforts both at B&M in-store and online, worldwide. This can include Film, Print, Digital, as well as supporting external creative agencies.
Responsibilities
- Create strong partnerships with Integrated Marketers, Channel Leads, Product Marketing Managers, internal creative teams and external agencies
- Partner with internal creative teams from the earliest brief and concept stage forward, to ensure the most innovative marketing work
- Reports directly to the Retail Program Lead
- Execute internal workstreams and supports external agencies for global and regional marketing campaigns (integrated production with a focus on film, stills and digital media) to bring this creative work to life
- Troubleshoot technical production challenges, often working with products and/or software still in development
- Project planning (goals, budget estimates, schedule, and production contracts)
- Bid and negotiate with vendors for all aspects of production. You know what can be done and done well for a wide range of budgets
- Represents production progress to cross-functional colleagues and executive leadership
- Partners with Program Lead to shape the creative production process with direct reports to executive leadership
- Incorporate global and localization considerations into the work
- Foster creativity while challenging scope creep or situations that may not always align with business goals. Deliver options that can achieve creative intent within time and budget
Minimum Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in content or digital producer role on multi-channel campaigns including film, social and digital in creative advertising agencies or internal creative teams
- Experience keeping Creatives informed around timelines, and solving complex challenges while keeping the consumer in mind
- Communication skills with cross functional teams
- Knowledge of managing timelines and cross-functional collaboration, and a high-degree of ambiguity
- Conflict resolution skills
- Proven negotiation skills with peers, cross-functional business partners, and external production partners
- Experience managing multiple projects, from the creative vision down to the small details
- Experience at making decisions that drive production without sacrificing budget or concept
- Experience at independent thinking, and decision making, delivering work to a high creative standard, on time and within budget
- Expert at project planning (goals, budget estimates, schedule, and production contracts)
- Experience in high level of care for security protocol and confidential productions
Preferred Qualification
- 8+ years client-facing experience within a creative agency, large production studio and/or digital product marketing company with a focus on Retail
- An understanding of the Retail landscape or an eagerness to focus on that universe
- Experience with Retail campaigns or large gen market omnichannel efforts
- Working with or an understanding of the customer journey or aspects of it, and Producing solutions tailored to those touchpoint
- Experience or familiarity with additional creative channels including: print, out of home and/or experiential workstreams, Store in Store’s, Windows etc.
- Experience working with a large, global tech company
- Experience working with emerging technologies in creative production
