Position Overview This is a remote/virtual role**
Responsible for development of business development strategy and contributes to the execution of overall assigned business unit sales and marketing strategy. This person is a seasoned leader and proven manager. They have significant experience in growing a business unit with expertise in developing, maintaining, and overseeing technology and indirect channel partners. This includes driving Go-to-Market activities and Streem integration in the customer experience, CRM, & Direct-to-Consumer industries.
This role is also responsible for the creation and execution of business plans and financial models that ensure long term revenue growth and customer success. They will often represent Streem at industry events and strengthen Streem’s reputation as a thought leader in the industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Drives business development strategy and contributes to the development and implementation of overall partner ecosystem acquisition to increase customer adoption and overall revenue targets.
- Lead Streem’s planning and execution of strategies to increase revenue and company growth with indirect, reseller, affiliate, commerce or VAR channel partners.
- Trains, coaches, and mentors in strategic planning, marketing, and business development functions.
- Directs business modeling incorporating market research and analysis of potential business opportunities.
- Directs efforts to develop and operationalize a partner program - acquire external partners/clients including targeting prospects, maintaining contact, developing, and making presentations and transitioning new partners.
- Lead negotiations with key partners to ensure best possible business terms, win/win scenarios and long term partnership sustainability.
- Oversee the formation of business partnerships and partner with legal on execution of contracts.
- Manage, grow, expand and optimize ongoing partners and integrators. Be main partner interface and advocate with internal product and engineering teams
- Assists in continual development and implementation of partner marketing programs.
- Lead efforts with the customer success teams that showcases the health of the partner ecosystem across many fronts including:
- Scorecard development and oversight
- Business growth opportunities
- SLA attainment
- Operational delivery
- Event planning
- Keeps abreast of industry trends in Streem’s business environment and vertical sectors
- Collaborates with the executive management team and internal resources to leverage data and reporting on KPIs, support maintenance and development of new and existing clients.
- Develops and delivers major account presentations.
- Communicate professionally and at multiple levels within the client and partner organization; anticipate customer needs and correspond proactively
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in related field (Technology Management, Digital Marketing, Business Management)
- 10 years management and demonstrated track record of supervisory experience related to managing complex business development teams and negotiations
- Demonstrated track record of strategic planning/execution and business modeling for complex software, technology and service organizations
- Minimum of seven years’ experience in strategic planning and execution
- Has held leadership roles in partner/account management with experience in revenue optimization, expansion and growth.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information at C-level-- especially in the area of selling/servicing clients/customers
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent financial/analytical skills with strong business acumen
- Travel required, up to 30%
