We are looking for an exceptional Manufacturing Engineer to collaborate with a cross functional team in developing processes, fixtures, and other electro-mechanical automated equipment in support of continuing improvement activities for our high-volume product lines. The Manufacturing engineer will work collaboratively as part of a cross functional team to reduce costs, improve yield & capacity through LEAN implementation activities, and support enhancements in quality for our semiconductor and advanced market customers.


Position Details:


  • Develop and automate manufacturing processes for continuous improvements to existing products and processes and new product introductions with improved tooling and fixturing
  •  Collaborating with cross functional groups to resolve technical, material, and quality issues to improve quality and cycle times
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices including refining manufacturing methods, processes, and tools for new and existing products.
  • Create, update and maintain manufacturing process instructions in Visual Factory system within established documented practices
  • Establish process controls (including SPC) and Poka Yoke improvements (mistake proof products and mistake proof processes) for new and existing products
  • Train and certify assembly operators on Manufacturing Processes


What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity and ability to work well with cross functional groups of employees at all organizational levels:


  • Education in Industrial or Mechanical engineering, with 2-3 years’ experience in mix production environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with structured problem-solving tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of SPC and process control implementation is required
  • Experience or training in lean manufacturing/6 sigma principles (including value stream mapping, 6S, etc.) is beneficial
  • Must be computer literate in MS Windows and Office applications. Familiarity with SolidWorks or CAD would be beneficial
  • Must be creative, curiosity and self-motivated, have an intense focus on customer satisfaction and support
