As a Strategic Planning Director in the Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU), you will be chartered with driving the CNBU product portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for the portfolio management, strategic planning and business planning processes of CNBU. You will coordinate across the Business Unit product and segment groups, as well as with partner organizations such as Design, Manufacturing, Finance, and Business Operations. This role will lead an experienced team to drive meaningful results in portfolio optimization, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and cost management.

The ideal candidate will drive a cross functional team towards defining clear business processes, blending the right mix of analytics, planning and reporting to ensure data driven accuracy with big picture vision. This role requires the ability to apply critical thinking working cross-functionally to drive the best possible outcome.

Your Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Drive overall portfolio management for CNBU by working collaboratively with the product managers in the CNBU product lines
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and grow a portfolio analytics division of CNBU that drives meaningful results into portfolio management and strategic planning processes
  • Support the consolidation of competitive intelligence from various sources within CNBU and partner with external organizations in driving best-in-class benchmarks
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the CNBU product lines to manage the weekly business planning stage gate review process
  • Working with CNBU leadership team and key partner organizations, drive the entire annual business unit strategic planning process
  • Work with the segments to drive quarterly market intelligence
  • Collaborate across CNBU with the segments, product lines, finance, and operations on the quarterly business planning process with a focus on accuracy and value added content
  • Work collaboratively with key team members to develop and establish the multi-year product cost targets and roadmap for achieving best-in-class cost targets.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with experience in semiconductor or a computing systems company
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in analytics, business management, strategy formation, and portfolio management
  • Highly motivated person with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple sites
