Job Description: Art Director

We’re looking for a hands-on Art Director who is truly gifted and can help push our studio to create amazing experiences, be it Video, Motion Graphics, 3D animation, Virtual/Augmented Reality, or Interactive Microsites.

 Potential candidates need to have a high level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (more specifically Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop) along with 3D animation experience, showing evidence of the following:

• ­­Great design eye
• Great motion graphics skills to either produce or direct others
• Great editing skills to help pull together projects, or to direct other editors
• Direction of camera animation to create a cinematic composition
• Direction of character animators to create naturalistic animation
• Great Photoshop skills for design and creation of elements for all experiences

 Responsibilities:

• Work with CD and CCO to flesh out high-level creative ideas, then visualize in high quality for client review
• Supervise other design staff and mentor for best practice and quality
• Review and direct designs & artwork developed by the studio
• Coordinate activities with other creative departments
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards process flows and sitemaps
• Develop the overall look and style of interactive and video-based projects
• Review and direct designs & artwork developed by the studio
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s with an emphasis in design, fine arts, and or graphic art (Preferred, but not required)
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience
• Must be strong at ideation and experiential concept design

Compensation will be based on experience.
