Located north of San Francisco, California in Marin County, Whiskytree is a content creation company that is equal parts agency and production company, as well as a computer graphics powerhouse. Our work spans industries and generations, and you are just as likely to find it on the silver screen as you are on television, the internet, in an app, a game, or in VR or AR. 


Our studio is currently looking for a Producer to join our team. 


Responsibilities:


  • Create and manage budgets and schedules for a variety of projects including feature films, television/streaming platform content, virtual production work, apps, VR/AR and others
  • Consult with the Executive Producer and clients regarding show planning, bidding, and budget management
  • Work with studio VFX Supervisors and other production staff to execute client visions
  • Maintain oversight of and drive project schedules
  • Provide a constant point of contact for client-side production staff
  • Provide daily project leadership in conjunction with Supervisors
  • Manage crew performance 
  • Collaborate with other production staff to effectively track project actuals 
  • Implement original and efficient methods to improve production workflow and customer service
  • Ensure a very high level of client satisfaction
  • Manage and foster existing and new client relationships
  • Travel for client meetings and/or on-set work as needed (this is occasional and not critical at this time)


Requirements: 


  • 3+ years experience as a Producer or Production Manager
  • Equivalent work experience or Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, or similar discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent grasp of mathematics and their application to managing budgets and personnel
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications 
  • Solid and successful experience leading production teams
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized with a knack for solving problems
  • Strong scheduling experience, and experience with production tracking software such as Shotgun
  • Thorough knowledge of VFX pipelines, techniques, and disciplines
  • Must enjoy working with a kind and professional demeanor in a collaborative team environment
