Job Summary

The ideal engineer is an expert in C# and very knowledgeable of Unity’s systems, architecture, and optimizations on a variety of platforms. You will work in a multi-functional team that is developing innovative visualization applications and advanced computer vision/machine learning systems. We are seeking engineers for both application level and system level work. As a systems engineer on our team, you will have many responsibilities relating to designing and implementing the architecture and core capabilities of our developer facing platform. Engineers on the application side will implement cutting edge XR visualizations and user experiences. You will work closely with internal clients to ensure we’re fulfilling requirements from concept through release.

Key Qualifications

Excellent Unity development skills

Experience profiling and optimizing applications

Experience in shipping games or simulations in 3D

Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communicate effectively, both written and verbal with technical and non-technical multi-functional team

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

7+ years in software engineering on multiple shipped products

A strong sense of responsibility and a high attention to details and product quality

VR/AR headset development experience

Additional Qualifications

Experience with 3D rendering is a plus

Computer Vision/Machine Learning knowledge is a plus

Experience with character animation systems

Experience with AI systems

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and 7+ years work experience.
