Prisms of Reality is a SF and NYC-based team of educators, game developers, and engineers who are transforming K12 STEM education through experiential real-world problem-solving. We utilize adaptive Virtual Reality (VR) to engage, inspire, and open pathways to creative problem-solving through Math. Our mission is to break down barriers to access and build STEM proficiencies at scale for all students, world-wide.


We are rapidly expanding our team to fasttrack the impact of our student-facing VR content libraries and educator-facing data tools to make VR a mainstay in the K-12 classroom.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Prisms seeks a seasoned VP of Strategic Partnerships who will target, pitch and close strategic partnerships to help increase the distribution and impact of our transformative STEM learning platform. Working with Executive Leadership, you will build on Prisms' initial success with foundational partners in order to grow and expand our partnership program. Our ideal candidate will have a track record of driving revenue through strategic partnerships in the educational ecosystem. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, tech-driven leader who will help Prisms' gain traction, through strategic partners, to ensure long term competitive growth. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, negotiate, and oversee strategic partnerships that increase the distribution of our product and generate revenue.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to build partner programs that ensure retention, loyalty and growth of our strategic partners.
  • Oversee tracking and reporting of partner impact to ensure efficacy of Partner Programs.
  • Target new opportunities with appropriate partners to enhance our technical offering, expand our market share, deliver more value to existing customers, and open new opportunities to drive revenue for Prisms.
  • Oversee recruiting and hiring of the Strategic Partnerships team as we grow and scale.
  • Serve as a strong and visible thought leader for Prisms of Reality and the company as a whole.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 years of experience in Partnership Development, CSR Sales or Business Development, preferably at a SaaS company in the education and technology sectors.
  • Strong network of potential CSR and strategic partners.
  • Experience in navigating CSR landscapes and creating partner programs that provide mutual benefits for both partners and companies.
  • Proven skills in building Go-to-market plans for CSR and strategic partners.
  • Exceptional deal structuring, negotiation and management skills.
  • Knowledge of SaaS or general software sales experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of web or performance analytics is a plus.
  • Must be self-directed, a creative problem solver and entrepreneurial in spirit.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
