Job Description
Leading consumer technology company is seeking a Technical 3D VFX Developer to join their team.This role is confirmed to be remote through end of 2021 (still TBD for 2022), but you must be able to work PST hours the entirety of the assignment.
In this Technical 3D VFX Developer role you will be responsible for collaborating between Real Time content creation teams and developer teams using some of the company's most advanced technologies including the augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) support offered in ARKit and Metal.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Good programming skills and knowledge of C++, Objective C, Swift. (Python, Javascript a plus)
- Extensive experience with at least one of the graphics APIs; Metal, OpenGL, DirectX
- Experience with Shader Languages (HLSL/GLSL, Metal Shaders, OSL) and writing custom shaders
- Experience with iOS and Unity app development
- 3D math skills (linear algebra)
- Expert knowledge of rendering techniques and colors science (OCIO, ACES)
- Familiarity with Visual Effects DCC applications and their API’s (Maya, Substance Designer, Nuke)
- Shipped a performant AR or VR application
