The Mixed-Reality team is seeking a program manager to gather and analyze information, formulate, and test hypothesis and develop and communicate recommendations. The program manager will have the opportunity to present their results to customers and management and implement recommendations in collaboration with members of the Mixed Reality team and our customers - who will primarily consist of various entities within the Department of Defense.

Building upon solid research and project experience relative to their level, the program manager will work with Microsoft's partners to assist customers in the delivery of high-quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas with a specific focus on the delivery of Mixed Reality and Artificial Intelligence solutions for the United States Government. The program manager will also help assist customers in stabilizing developed solutions using Microsoft methodologies in complex customer environments, in the design and development of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products, services, and technologies and understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure, and operations implications of the developed solution.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the identification, pursuit and closure of strategic product and business growth activities.
  • Analyze opportunities and requirements and help design technical solutions to meet business goals objectives and functional/non-functional requirements in alignment with Microsoft’s strategic goals. 
  • Assist in identifying and creatively solving complex customer problems, envisioning, and enabling critical processes, and fundamentally helping the customer to achieve their objectives.
  • Manage the work that must be done to deliver an integrated solution usually composed of products, services, or a formalized solution offering.
Required

Qualifications
  • Previous experience (1+ years) in program and change management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of professional experience
Preferred
  • Ability, to organize, track and reason over large amounts of data
  • Ability to synthesize new information to make sound operational decisions
  • Unwavering attention to detail
  • Understanding of DoD logistics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competency in analytic problem solving, customer partner relationship management, and Microsoft products and technologies.
  • The succeed in uncertain circumstances and work effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Proven experience in managing suppliers and working across matrixed organizations.
  • Experience working independently to design, plan, and execute fast moving and dynamic operations.
  • Track record of data-driven decision making on product and operational trade-offs.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Bias for action.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 
  • Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
  • Fingerprint Background Check: This position will be required to pass a customer required Fingerprint Background Check.
  • Ability to obtain a US GOVT security clearance
