Overview of the role

Outward has developed a transformative 3D-based visualization platform for the retail industry. We are pushing the boundaries of how 3D and AR/ VR technologies will drive the next generation's shopping experience.

In the Creative Content Coordinator role, you will help manage our growing customer base. You will report to our Creative Director, help manage large customer projects, be the liaison with various departments, and bring customer projects to a successful end. You have an understanding of photography, some familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, and a keen sense for aesthetic details.

Maintaining Customer Partnerships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer facing role
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with individuals across multiple roles and departments within the customer organization
  • Set and manage customer expectations regarding deliverables and timelines
  • Present work in progress, final deliverables, & respond to questions/solicit feedback in a timely manner
  • Research, identify, and suggest process improvements to qualify customer’s potential
  • Lead weekly meetings and develop consistency within each brand
  • Ability to communicate customer needs and expectations to Outward leadership and internal teams


Project Management
  • Maintain consistent and detailed communication with production staff, engineering, and management
  • Create and manage timelines, spreadsheets, work orders, and new project plans
  • Track project status and following up on action items
  • Coordinate and execute last minute customer requests and shifting priorities across all teams
  • Familiarize and educate the production team on the unique branding for each customer
  • Ensure technical and creative requirements are met on each deliverable
  • Lead bi-weekly stand up meetings with internal cross teams
  • Assure on-time delivery of 2D images and product launches across multiple applications
  • Maintain regular communication with Creative Assistants to assure Creative and QC work aligns with customer priorities and standards


Creative Experience And Expertise In Visual Presentation
  • 2+ years experience in project management role or similar role
  • Understanding of photography, principles of composition, and color theory
  • Knowledge in Google Sheets and project management tools
  • Strong attention to detail and a critical eye is a must
  • Ability to interpret multiple creative guidelines and content requirements across retail channels - digital, retail, catalog - to ensure deliverables maintain a constant aesthetic specific to customer needs
  • Familiarity with home furnishings, which could include sales, merchandising, and/or design
  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, graphic design, UI/UX design, and 3D modeling workflow is a plus.
  • General understanding of the OSX user platform
