We are looking for an exceptional Senior Operational Excellence Manager who can drive operational performance through continuous improvement and strategy implementation in alignment with our Guiding Principles: Grow, Win, Innovate, Own.  You will partner with the site Operations leaders and be responsible for site-level operational efficiency improvements to products, processes and practices and for packaging platform-level operational strategy deployment; you will have the opportunity to promote Operational Excellence through lean principles, having a direct impact on the business; you will drive the corporate Lean Continuous Improvement roll-out throughout MKS for all functional groups; you will also lead site transfer and strategic project activities, directing project leads on processes and procedures. 

What you will do: 


  • Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and reduce cost; develop plans and lead projects/activities to realize savings and improvements using lean tools and strategy
  • Coach, train and collaborate with leaders and team members on how to think, work and lead in a lean organization
  • Conduct data analysis as part of focused improvement initiatives or continuous process monitoring (including but not limited to data collection plans, creating KPIs, run charts or dashboards, FMEA, developing visual management boards, and root cause analysis)
  • Manage the development of detailed workflows, processes, standards and procedures relevant to operational reporting, and identifying best practices and lessons learned
  • Deploy mechanisms for knowledge sharing and best practice transfer to replicate and accelerate improvement efforts
  • Support development of the Operations strategic plans and manage key initiatives

What will you bring to the team, along with your creativity is:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Management, Engineering, or relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years of Operational Leadership in a lean-principled manufacturing or engineering position
  • Extensive experience with application of and training in Lean methods
  • Exceptional ability in developing and delivering executive-level presentations including vision, status, risk and recommendations in a precise, well-organized manner
  • High level of business acumen
  • Experience working with diverse cultures and comfortable traveling internationally 10-15%
