We are looking for an exceptional Principal Test Engineer who will bring an eagerness to our team to continue the development of our testing platform.

What you will do is:


  • Create documented procedures for testing and production while working within a predefined architecture using LabView
  • Automates testing and production procedures
  • Designs each procedure to be incorporated in the higher-level architecture and documentation
  • Writes code for factory floor and real time visualization of the processes in production while incorporating statistical process control to drive more efficient and productive processes

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:


  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; MS degree or equivalent advanced training is preferred
  • 5+ years LabView experience
  • Knowledge of HAL, Classes, and various methods of instrument communication including IEEE, USB, RS232, ModBus, ethernet, and others
  • Understanding of GitHub, Tortoise SVN
  • Experience designing, configuring, and deploying test stations
  • Ability of creating scalable, modular, reusable, extensible, and simple drivers, scripts, and other software tools

One or more of the following would be a plus:


  • NI Vision and/or OpenCV experience
  • Experience with the DSC toolkit, cDAQ and cRIO
  • Knowledge of SPC and Nelson Rules
  • Experience designing and soldering electrical circuits
  • Knowledge of programming in Python, C, and/or C++
