Director of Alliance Enablement

The Strategic Alliance Enablement team is looking for an experienced professional to lead the enablement programs related to the Rockwell and PTC strategic partnership. These programs are focused on building sales and technical competencies in the rapidly growing areas of Internet of Things (IOT) and Augmented Reality (AR), as well as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Onshape.

This role is responsible for working with PTC and Rockwell leadership roles to translate business requirements into enablement programs that drive growth via customer success in Rockwell’s PTC-related business. Success will rely on working in close collaboration with the PTC Field Enablement team to design, develop and deliver enablement across various Rockwell business units.

This is a high-profile role where you will be working with senior members of both PTC and Rockwell Automation. Accordingly, this position is a critical one to the success of our billion-dollar Alliance, as enablement is the tip of the spear in every initiative we do. This role is an individual contributor role without direct reports, reporting to a Senior Vice President.

Your Day-To-Day
  • Enablement Strategy
    • Translate business needs into documented requirements, covering enablement and performance support, and associated delivery systems.
    • Define the optimal enablement program strategy for each business area, working with the PTC Field Enablement team.
  • Enablement Program Governance
    • Engage stakeholders to align on goals, strategies, initiatives, and measures, including any associated Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
    • Quarterly program management, including reporting and analysis, focused on value delivery.
  • Enablement Program Definition
    • Leverage the best of PTC sales and technical enablement programs into one holistic Rockwell enablement program.
    • Create communication plans, delivery schedules, staffing models, etc. as needed.
  • Enablement Program Delivery
    • Manage all phases of the program, ensuring stakeholder sponsorship throughout.
    • Communicate value through consistent metrics aligned to business goals.
  • Enablement Champion Team
    • Create a Champion forum to provide feedback on new and existing enablement programs.
    • Test new delivery methods to optimize value and impact.
Experience Required
  • A partner enablement expert with proven success as a partner enablement leader in a global technology company; ideal to have experience in sales; however, career focus has been Enablement.
  • Strong delivery focus, strong program management skills, experienced at managing enablement programs demonstrating highly effective stakeholder management.
  • Confident and effective collaborator, able to drive results in a matrixed organization.
  • 12 to 15 years professional experience, with at least 5 years of management experience including success in roles such as: Partner management, Partner operations, Technical enablement, Program management.
  • Bachelor's degree; Further education/qualifications an advantage
PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which may include the background and experience of all applicants, which can cause your compensation to vary. PTC anticipates the Director, Alliance Enablement to start at a minimum annual salary of $160,000 . The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or payment of any relocation expenses that might be incurred.
