Vehicle Remarketing (VR) is responsible for the management and sale of vehicles of lease returns, which will top 320,000 vehicles annually next year and represent over $3 billion in annual sales. In addition, VR provides servicing for the consumers and dealers impacted by these record levels of vehicle returns. Finally, the VR group also manages the sale of tens of thousands of repossessed vehicles per year. To manage the risk associated with increasing volumes, VR has reorganized into five major functional areas. These five functional areas are: 1) Vehicles Sales, 2)

Manufacturer Partner Strategy, 3) Operations and Controls, 4) Dealer Sales and Communications, and 5) Customer Loyalty. Our goal is to further enhance Vehicle Remarketing's recognized position as a competitive advantage for Chase and our clients, who will benefit from operations that maximize vehicle values, reduce residual losses, and increase customer loyalty.

About The Position

The Vehicle Remarketing Sales Analytics Manager will be primarily responsible for providing analytical support, developing recommendations and driving implementation of Vehicle Sales initiatives. This role will require constant collaboration with internal business partners (including risk, legal, and compliance), Private Label clients, and external vendors. The Manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing solutions in support of maximizing vehicle value retention, minimizing residual value losses and optimizing vehicle sales channels. They will design strategies and implement new products to ensure we sell the car at the right time, in the right place and for the right price. The Manager will also prepare and deliver analyses, presentations and recommendations related to Vehicle Sales and Remarketing strategies to internal and client executives. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated consistent success in critical thinking, analytics, and strategy development in a dynamic and demanding environment. This manager will be expected to not accept the status quo and drive for transformation and improvement.

This position reports to the Vehicle Remarketing Strategy and Business Management Director.

Responsibilities Include
  • Ownership of data, reporting and letters related to dealer level purchases of targeted vehicles
  • Preparation and delivery of analyses, presentations and recommendations to internal and external executives
  • Working with VR Brand Managers, VR Pricing Managers and Senior Management to develop vehicle sales strategies
  • Leading new vehicle sales strategies from planning through delivery
  • Collaboration with vendors in implementation of new products to drive vehicles sales frequency and retention
  • Analysis and development of solutions to improve and transform existing VR operational processes
  • Analysis and development of solutions to improve and transform existing vehicle pricing
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Consumer Financial Services experience required; Auto Finance experience desired
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, lead, and influence cross functional teams
  • Experience in identifying business opportunities, strategy development, and creating business cases
  • Demonstration of strong verbal and written presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and process improvement skills
  • Ability to develop consensus / buy-in on recommendations to senior management and external clients
  • Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced changing environment
  • SAS, SQL, and statistical analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline like Statistics, Economics, or Finance
  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or a related quantitative discipline preferred, but not required
