The Specialized Technology Recruiting Team at Facebook supports specialized technical hiring across unique hardware initiatives and innovative technologies. These organizations are responsible for developing and building the software and hardware platforms that power Facebook, its Infrastructure, and its family of apps today (including Data Center, Core Systems Engineering, Foundation, Enterprise, Network Engineering, Production Engineering, Connectivity, Privacy and Security teams) and the platforms of the future (Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)).As a member of the Specialized Technology Recruiting Team, you’ll work with hiring managers and Recruiters to develop creative strategies to find the best talent globally. We conceive practical and creative ways to identify leading talent and invest a lot of time activating passive candidates through a highly engaged approach. We’re passionate about delivering an awesome candidate experience from the initial reachout and first conversation a candidate has with us which more often than not starts with a member of our recruiting team.

Responsibilities
  • Help to define, design and implement leadership recruiting programs and search engagements for a variety of technical leadership roles, including understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply
  • Partner with leadership, recruiters and hiring managers to develop a detailed profiles of target candidates with data-driven advice on the range of logical possibilities
  • Skillfully support weighing the anticipated and immediate challenges of the targeted role, company/group strategic objectives, and corresponding opportunities to productively explore more diverse perspectives and tradeoffs
  • Foster trust-based relationships with candidates, gaining a close understanding of their requirements and concerns
  • Support an exemplary candidate experience at every stage of the process
  • Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns
  • Screen resumes and assess candidates to determine appropriate next steps
  • Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
  • Proactively recommend and drive process improvements that impact candidate identification and engagement
  • Capture and maintain accurate market, client and candidate information on our knowledge management systems so as to both facilitate the search process and our overarching Market Intelligence initiatives
  • Leverage search and problem-solving expertise on a variety of Facebook Global Recruiting initiatives
  • Become a contributing member of the Recruitment Leadership team that effectively embodies and promotes the culture and values of Facebook, and lead the team to do the same
Minimum Qualification
  • 5 or more years of experience with recruiting
  • 2+ years of experience in technical and/or leadership recruiting
  • Experience market mapping and engaging senior-level candidates
  • Experience partnering with hiring teams, recruiters and clients, including senior management
  • Experience developing talent market insights and data to influence leadership and cross-functional team decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of building working relationships with leaders and cross-functional partner
Preferred Qualification
  • 7+ years of experience in a combination of retained executive search research and large corporate technology identifying and developing software engineering leadership candidate interest
  • Knowledge, comfort and versatility working on complex or technical sourcing topics
  • Fearless and resilient, highly driven to be successful, an interest in technology and continuous learning
