The Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) group brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software and content. We are building tools and experiences that make people feel closer together via Video Calling, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). The Portal Production team will handle all creative asset executions. This can include Filmed Content, Art Content, Digital, Social, CRM, and supporting external creative agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Create strong partnerships with Integrated Marketers, Channel Leads, Product Marketing Managers, internal creative teams and external agencies
  • Partner with internal creative teams from the earliest brief and concept stage forward, to ensure the most innovative marketing work
  • Reports directly to the Executive Producer of Content
  • Execute internal workstreams and supports external agencies for global and regional marketing campaigns (integrated production with a focus on film, social and performance media) to bring this creative work to life
  • Troubleshoot technical production challenges, often working with products and/or software still in development
  • Project planning (goals, budget estimates, schedule, and production contracts)
  • Bid and negotiate with vendors for all aspects of film and animation production, editorial, and music production. You know what can be done and done well for a wide range of budgets
  • Represents production progress to cross-functional colleagues and executive leadership
  • Partners with Program Lead to shape the creative production process with direct reports to executive leadership
  • Incorporate global and localization considerations into the work
  • Foster creativity while challenging scope creep or situations that may not always align with business goals. Deliver options that can achieve creative intent within time and budget
Minimum Qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in content or digital producer role on multi-channel campaigns including film, social and digital in creative advertising agencies or internal creative teams
  • A reel or portfolio that demonstrates examples of content creation
  • Experience with media and the consumer tech space
  • Network of partners for production, motion, effects, editorial, music - the people who can make an idea come to life in the best way possible
  • Communication skills with cross functional teams
  • Knowledge of managing timelines and cross-functional collaboration, and a high-degree of ambiguity
  • Experience in fast-paced, self-starter environments
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Proven negotiation skills with peers, cross-functional business partners, and external production partners
  • Experience managing multiple projects, from the creative vision down to the small details
  • Experience at making decisions that drive production without sacrificing budget or concept
  • Experience at independent thinking, and decision making, delivering work to a high creative standard, on time and within budget
  • Expert at project planning (goals, budget estimates, schedule, and production contracts)
  • Experience in high level of care for security protocol and confidential productions
Preferred Qualification
  • 8+ years client-facing experience within a creative agency, large production studio and/or digital product marketing company
  • Experience working with UI/software
  • Experience with additional creative channels including: AR filters, print, out of home and/or experiential workstreams
  • Experience working with a large, global tech company
  • Experience working with emerging technologies in creative production
