Project Manager, Productivity & Collaboration Apps: Facebook AR/VR Content Operations.You will be partnering with a team of content owners and engineers that work across the Oculus VR development ecosystem to deliver high quality VR applications focused on advancing remote presence and collaboration experiences in virtual reality. You are a strategic thinker who can break down complex problems, build scalable solutions, and deliver actionable insights that improve how we operate as a team while working in a dynamic environment. This role will work cross-functionally with Engineers, Product Managers, Marketing, Procurement, Legal, Finance and Content Operations.
Responsibilities
- Operations Support of the Productivity & Collaboration Apps team, inside FRL Content Organization, creating efficiency and structure to how the team operates
- Own budget spend activities and shepherd funding proposals through Greenlight process
- Lead cross-functional teams in establishing action plans and target dates for deliverables
- Participate in post-release content analysis to identify wins and challenges
- Sustain a robust documented process for the sourcing and development pipeline from identification to launch
- Continually identify opportunities to improve operational excellence, plan and execute changes with autonomy to improve workflow for project sourcing, deliveries and execution
- Work cross-functionally to drive execution and hold people accountable for deliverables
- Work closely with Legal to manage approvals and contracts/statement-of-work process
- Own developer onboarding into Facebook systems and procurement activities to ensure timely payment to third party partners
Minimum Qualification
- 5+ years of program/project management and/or software application production experience
- Solid understanding of the apps development life cycle, tools and processes from concept through to launch and in to live services
- Experience working with B2B, Enterprise and/or SaaS teams
- Experience working with external QA and Localization vendors
- Experience in a fast pace startup environment
- High attention to detail when documenting workflows, schedules, and trackers
- Interpersonal skills with emphasis on building productive and positive relationships with third party developers, managers, peers, cross functional partners and vendors
- Proven experience to create processes independently and move projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
- Performs with a high degree of ownership and accountability
Preferred Qualification
- BA/BS or equivalent
- Experience with Salesforce and CRM tools
- Experience developing and launching VR applications
- Platform QA and new hardware development experience
- Working directly with third party developers to release content on a platform
