Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Acting as a key advisor and leader supporting all major business transactions, business development partnerships, and other operational contracts
• Structuring and negotiating inbound vendor agreements, such as agreements for software, SaaS products, equipment, consulting, software development and managed services
• Helping to build and improve forms, policies, and playbooks
• Providing sound advice and guidance on legal and business-related issues to senior business leaders
• Advising on product policy and terms of service
• Structuring and managing the company’s internal legal function and staff
• Help manage outside counsel

This is the right opportunity for you if you:

• Have 5+ years experience of legal practice (preferably including 3+ years of in-house, corporate legal experience)
• Have a JD and are in good standing of the State Bar for the US state in which you reside
• Are an exceptional problem solver, clear strategic thinker, and have a proven ability to frame complex legal, compliance, and regulatory issues for non-experts
• Are a multi-tasker with a sharp attention to detail, and can manage competing priorities under time constraints
• Have excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Are flexible and have a sense of humor
