YOU ARE an experienced QA Tester. You run various tests on our project’s custom interactive software to ensure it meets all standards, design specifications and guidelines and is ready for our clients. You identify issues and run debugging programs as needed. QA testers also generate reports, work with our in-house software developers to correct issues, and upgrade bug databases as required.

Job Requirements

· Test interactive projects using varied platforms and technologies, including but not limited to:

a. Mobile: iOS, Android

b. Web/DB/CMS: HTML5, NodeJS, MongoDB, SQL

c. Desktop: Microsoft WPF, Unreal Engine, Unity

d. AR/VR/Motion Control/Touch: Oculus Quest/Rift, Microsoft HoloLens, Magic Leap

· Applying testing programs to new, custom software.

· Identifying bugs/issues in new systems and understanding how to resolve them.

· Generating reports describing defects and potential resolutions.

· Ensuring that new software programs/products are ready for use.

· Working with software development teams to prevent issues with new products

· Reviewing and analyzing software/system specifications.

· Executing test scripts and reviewing/understanding results.

· Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.

· Draft status reports, attend meetings, and actively communicate progress.

· Inspire colleagues to continuously generate forward-thinking ideas and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence, and respect.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience

· Must be available to work full-time, on-site.

· Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing in a similar software/hardware environment.

· Must be familiar with:

a. Standard software development methodologies

b. Test automation (Selenium, Blueprint, or equivalent)

c. Version control (Perforce, SVN, GIT, or equivalent)

d. Continuous integration (Jenkins, Buildbot, or equivalent)

e. Basic IT troubleshooting (networking, software/hardware troubleshooting)

f. Scripting languages ((Lua, Python, SQL, and/or C++, or equivalent)

· Excellent communication skills and attention to details

· Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Ability to lift and move 25 pounds.

· Experience working collaboratively with cross-disciplinary, art, programming, production and technology teams.

· Experience working on short-timelines in a fast-paced environment.
