Position: Sr. QA Automation Engineer

In this position, the Sr. Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will be responsible for managing, documenting and executing manual and automated (API) test cases to ensure that end-user requirements are met. The ideal candidate is detail-orientated who will work closely with the development team and subject matter experts to deliver high quality testing artifacts. 


Scope of Work:

  • Design and build automated testing frameworks in Karma, Jasmine and Protractor
  • Integrate automated tests and test results into CI-CD pipelines.
  • Debug and triage failures, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure requirements are documented, understandable, accurate, and testable.  
  • Control and manage daily test activities
  • Test NodeJS API’s 
  • Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products.
  • Execute and validate test plans and results. 
  • Test functionality of services and apps built for our ecosystem.
  • Champion best practices for testing, testing processes, and testing tools to ensure our teams are working as efficiently and effectively as possible
  • Strong familiarity with DevOps, Agile methodologies/systems and working within Scrum teams 
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services


Qualifications:

  • Ability to gain secret US security clearance 
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of work experience in an IT environment functioning as a QA where being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) was required.
  • Working knowledge of Angular 9, Javascript, Protractor/Selenium,Karma, Jasmine/Mocha/Cucumber and document-oriented databases (MongoDB
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required
  • Experience with Postman 
  • Experience with Jira
  • Testing Certification such as ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA or CSQE
  • Knowledge of security related compliance requirements (PCI, HIPAA, SOX, and Security Best Practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
