We are looking for an exceptional Inside Sales Specialist who can comfortably communicate with both internal and external customers. Your positive and helpful attitude will give customers a reason to be pleased to do business with MKS. You will communicate with a wide variety of customers around the US, both technical and non-technical, helping to support their research and production activities. You will do this while working with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Inside Sales team. As a team, you will support both external customers as well as our outside sales team.

 

This position is based in our Methuen, MA location with some options for remote work.

 

Position Responsibilities:

You will contribute to our growth by acting as an extension of the existing outside sales team members who are local to the customer. You will support customers and the outside sales team through the following activities:

·        You will work with our team members as well as with technical resources to understand the operation and technical nature of our products. 

·        You will work with our team members as well as with technical resources to understand the applications that utilize our products and how to choose the best products for the job.

·        You will generate quotations for customers from both your own customer engagements and in support of our outside sales   team. 

·        Using Salesforce software, you will update and maintain customer opportunities as well as create and run reports

·        You will follow up on opportunities to help understand the customers need and ascertain the next steps

 

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity and technical interests, is:

·        An Associate degree is required (BS/BA preferred)

·        It is preferred that you have a technical education in vacuum science, electronics, physics, chemistry, or equivalent experience. 

·        You possess a professional phone presence.

·        You are talented in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

·        You are willing to travel locally on occasion to visit customers either on your own or with another MKS team member. We find that is a great way to learn.

·        Prior knowledge of SFDC would be a benefit.
