About Your Next Opportunity: 

The Sr. Digital Marketing Manager is an essential role within HTC VIVE’s VR Digital Marketing team, responsible for supporting the development, deployment and optimization of all marketing campaigns, and channels across business units: Direct to Consumer (B2C) and Enterprise (B2B). 

 

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing and executing campaigns across several different marketing channels, including but not limited to: Email Marketing, Lead Generation/Nurturing, Marketplaces, Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic Networks, Affiliate Marketing, Content and SEO, and more. 

 

Success will require an aptitude for digital savviness, an inquisitive and forward-thinking marketing mindset, and a willingness to test and learn to successfully promote our Virtual Reality hardware, software, and solutions. 

 

VIVE’s marketing campaigns put the customer at the forefront; building awareness, generating leads, nurturing prospects and deliver revenue, along with increasing engagement, and driving lifetime customer value, loyalty, and advocacy. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for tapping into existing and new audiences through a collaborative and orchestrated cross-channel marketing acquisition strategy 

 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Execute the variety of marketing channel’s and unique initiatives within multiple marketing platforms, in alignment with quarterly forecasts, budgets and KPI goals. 
  • Creatively collaborate campaign concepts, digital assets, promotion plans, and the necessary analytics to track performance, post-mortems and implement learnings to optimize future efforts. 
  • Design, test, and implement touch points along the spectrum of our multi-layer channel marketing funnel. Specifically, qualified traffic acquisition, inbound marketing tactics, lead capture initiatives -- using software such as Marketo and Salesforce CRM. 
  • Create awareness campaigns demonstrating value to new customers and implement retention, personalization, and nurture campaigns to existing customers. 
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics; produce campaign reports, present, and demonstrate impact to key stakeholders across the business and with senior leadership. 
  • Identify new and emerging marketing tools, services, and software to innovate and further mature the marketing channels’ strategy, execution, and analysis effectiveness. 
  • Develop metrics, forecasts, analyses, and reports monthly/quarterly on channel marketing spend and ROAS by network, campaign, and initiative. Review, recommend, and adjust plans and objectives as necessary. 
  • Ensure existing customers are promptly updated with new products, accessories, features, solutions, and enhancements through the appropriate communication channels, including cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. 
  • Collaborate across departments to assist with the evaluation of existing marketing programs and assist in making recommendations for future changes and improvements. 
  • Develop marketing programs to increase awareness, reputation, image and net promoter score with existing customers, brand evangelists and prospective customers. 

 

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or a related field. 
  • 8+ years hands-on experience in digital marketing – paid, organic, and earned media marketing platforms preferred. 
  • Experience in Direct to Consumer (B2C), Enterprise (B2B) and Account Based Marketing (ABM); targeting, branding, awareness, acquisition, nurturing, product marketing, and customer retention. 
  • Experience orchestrating cross-channel marketing campaigns: email, paid search, paid social, SEO, content, Affiliates, Marketplaces, and more. 
  • Ability to build relationships and work well across multiple functions, as well as independently and within a team by involvement and leadership. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint skills with the ability to articulate a clear vision, thoughts, and ideas as related to digital marketing programs and changing and emerging opportunities. 
  • Demonstrated background in developing differentiated value propositions and audience messaging to support marketing deliverables and tactics. 
  • In-depth understanding and familiarity with database, data reporting tools, CRMs, and Data Visualization software. 
  • Analytical skills with the ability to forecast, test, track, and analyze quantitative and/or qualitative data, and derive areas for future optimization. 
  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both written and verbal form), as well as project management skills and attention to detail. 
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to and learn new technologies and software. 
  • Must be able to enact skillful dialogue, discussion, and inquiry, in person or virtually – and across multiple geographical regions. 
  • Must be able to produce or conceptualize elements of innovation, utility, and imagination towards campaign, project, and analysis. 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience): 

  • Google AdWords, Amazon Ads, Bings Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Marketo, Salesforce, Affiliate Networks, Commission Junction, Google Analytics, SEOMoz, Magento, and other related advertising platform experience and/or training preferred.
