Facebook’s FRL division is developing future products in augmented reality and virtual reality with breakthrough work in computer vision, advanced optics, eye tracking, and mixed reality that will enable groundbreaking experiences for consumers and businesses. The FRL Growth Products team is responsible for developing world-class growth product experiences to drive acquisition, referral, engagement, retention and monetization viral loops to maximize our business growth. This role will work with a cross-functional team including product managers, engineering, DS, Design and research teams to build these data driven solutions. Typical projects will include working with family of apps orgs (Messenger, FB, Instagram, WhatsApp) on integrating AR/VR experiences to drive growth, working with the ads org to build ads for the AR/VR ecosystem, working across FRL to develop viral hardware referral programs and incentives. Additionally, this role will partner with the data science team to build cutting-edge products, like real-time bidders. You will need a blend of technical management and business acumen to collaborate cross-functionally across software, hardware, and business units to ensure success.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functionally to define schedule, requirements, resource plans, integration plans, prioritize initiatives, and proactively identify/address potential setbacks.
  • Work with product managers, data scientists, engineers and software engineers to deliver on Growth product Roadmap in a fast-paced environment.
  • Balance the business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise for your area.
  • Maintain the team's focus on strategy and goal-oriented results when tackling complex problems.
  • Running recurring cross-functional syncs, and update mtgs to keep projects on track and keep stakeholders up-to-date on status.
  • Communicate program status, risks and mitigation plans to executives.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for review by all parts of the organization.
Minimum Qualification
  • 5+ years of tech industry experience, including 5+ years of program management experience.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with vendors and other internal/external partners.
  • Experience understanding and communicating technical information to non-experts.
Preferred Qualification
  • Experience developing multiple products, multiple customers, and multiple vendors concurrently.
  • 1+ years experience as a people manager who has built and maintained a strong team across highly technical disciplines.
  • Experience in working with Growth teams.
