5G Network Engineer, Senior

Key Role

Serve as a senior technical advisor and 5G communications technical lead to architects, designers, engineers, customers, and management on all aspects of wireless communications. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and analyze the development of new principles and concepts of a multivendor prototype using Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) and Machine Learning (ML). Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with wireless networks
• Experience with defining system requirements and test plans
• Experience with the creation and deployment of development environments
• Ability to create and manage traceability between mission testing, functional testing, platform testing, cybersecurity testing, and performance testing
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BS degree in Engineering
  
  

Additional Qualifications

• Experience in integrating solutions with commercial terrestrial cellular networks and commercial satellite communications networks
• MA or MS degree
• Project Management Professional Certification
• Information Systems Security Professional Certification
