The Specialized Technology Recruiting Team at Facebook supports specialized technical hiring across unique hardware initiatives and innovative technologies. These organizations are responsible for developing and building the software and hardware platforms that power Facebook, its Infrastructure, and its family of apps today (including Data Center, Core Systems Engineering, Foundation, Enterprise, Network Engineering, Production Engineering, Connectivity, Privacy and Security teams) and the Facebook Reality Labs platform (Augmented and Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence [AI]).As we hire some of the best technical minds around, we need the best recruiting minds to match our business needs. As a Recruiting Manager, you will apply your operational depth and strategic thinking to develop, drive, and execute on the staffing strategies within our Optics (AR/VR) pillar. You will lead a team of staffing professionals who execute against global hiring targets and work closely with multiple stakeholders to drive world class recruiting practices with a constant eye on scaling for the future. In this role, you will know how to manage, mentor, and guide a team of managers, recruiters and/or sourcers through all facets of the recruiting life-cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Inspire, grow and nurture a team of recruiting professionals to deliver against Business hiring needs while meeting quality expectations
  • Providing mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team
  • Collaborate with key business leadership partners to understand future plans and develop a global strategy to deliver on these plans
  • Lead comprehensive top-down vision and recruitment strategy for Facebook’s Optics AR/VR teams
  • Leverage data analytics to drive operational improvements and amplify operational excellence to support team's rapid growth
  • Partner with Facebook hiring managers to develop a detailed profile of target candidates with data-driven advice on the range of logical possibilities
  • Define overall recruiting performance goals across the team
  • Lead and develop recruiting managers to scale their teams
  • Champion recruiting process improvements and recruiting tool enhancements on a global level
  • Design and implement cutting-edge sourcing strategy for team and hiring managers
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be recognized as trusted advisor in all recruitment matters
  • Understand HR-related regulations and compliance procedures across North America, EMEA and APAC
Minimum Qualification
  • 8+ years of recruiting experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing a team of recruiters and/or sourcers
  • Experience managing teams of 10+ direct reports
  • Experience designing and implementing global recruiting strategies
  • Experience collaborating with key business leaders and senior cross-functional partners
  • Experience translating data and analysis into strategic recruitment processes and recommendations

  • Technical recruiting experience
  • Experience managing technical recruiting teams
  • Experience building and scaling technical recruitment teams
