High Side Technology LLC has an immediate need for testing and experimentation analysts to provide test plan development and execution support to Department of Defense (DoD) 5G Program clients. The successful candidate will work as a member of the DoD 5G test/experimentation team responsible for testing DoD 5G prototype capabilities across multiple domains, including:


  • Wired/wireless communications for Spectrum Sharing and Coexistence
  • Wired/wireless communications for ground force operations to implement augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) training
  • Wired/wireless communications for smart warehousing capabilities


Responsibilities:

  • Experimentation planning execution for 5G technologies across a wide range of Technical Readiness Levels (TRL's 2-7)
  • Member of the 5G Experimentation Integrated Product Team (IPT), a multi-disciplinary team environment requiring interaction with government customers at all levels of authority and technical acuity.
  • Provide project management office (PMO) support to various onsite T&E teams.
  • Support laboratory (phase I) and integration (phase II) testing.
  • Lead execution of Phase III Field Tests


Qualifications:

  • DAWIA T&E Certification (level 2, level 3 desired), or equivalent industry certification (ISTQB - Foundation, Test Analyst, MBT; UAH T&E Professional Certification Program, etc.)
  • Modeling & Simulation Experience: experience supporting Software/Hardware in the Loop (SIL/HIL) test planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication systems and network communications (wired and wireless)
  • Field Testing:
  • Experience planning and coordinating field tests at ranges or surrogate sites
  • Experience conducting site surveys
  • Experience with data collection planning
  • Knowledge and experience working with testing tools (TaaS, network simulators/emulators, etc.)
  • Experience and skills developing assessment reports.


The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of wireless communication technologies, including either commercial cellular or military wireless communication systems. A successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a distributed multi-disciplinary team environment and work independently as needed. A successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional professionalism, organization, and leadership skills. This position requires interaction with government customers at all levels of authority and technical acuity, and therefore a successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate technical and programmatic information through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
