Are you passionate about innovative technology, including 3D LiDAR? MicroVision has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Staff RTL Engineer as a key member of the digital team. As a Sr. Staff RTL Engineer, you will bring your experience and vision to designing prototype hardware for the vertical, supporting integration efforts, and developing on prototype hardware. You will also collaborate with a dynamic cross functional team and lead a small junior project team. Join us at MicroVision.



Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement and test RTL features.
  • Write detailed implementation requirements from high level specifications.
  • Document test and implementation plan and then execute on it.
  • Work with other teams integrate developed features into prototype hardware.
  • Guide more junior members of RTL and integration teams to complete tasks.
  • Support bringing up RTL features developed by the team.


Qualifications:


  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 8+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working Knowledge of Verilog, Python, TCL programming languages.
  • Ability to work well in a fast moving and complex environment.
  • Proficient in FPGA Design methodologies from state machine design to DSP implementation.
  • Experienced in closing timing in FPGA designs.
  • Mapping algorithms to FPGA appropriate logic implementations.
  • Simulink DSP Integration
  • Expert integrating and bringing up features in hardware.
  • Independently driven to complete project tasks.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to break down complicated RTL features into smaller design blocks.
  • Experiences in a Linux development environment.
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentations skills.
  • Experience in a Cocotb or other PLI based co-simulation environment.
  • Local WA candidates, or willing to relocate to Washington state.
